In the final installment of this series Meredith is in the ICU after an extensive surgery to save her life. The lead doctor enters and immediately calls a code on her as the vital sign monitors flatline. The girl once again goes under resuscitation with CPR. The doctor calls for the crash cart and the patient is pulled off the vent and bagged. Her body jolts with defibs as the team tells her to breathe. The patient has been through many cardiac arrests at this point and the chances of getting her back seem to fade quickly.
